Described as “the world’s most important event of the year for the commercial design industry”, NeoCon represents a pinnacle opportunity for exhibitors to inspire product selection and use. Tarkett, a worldwide leader of innovative flooring and sports surface solutions, was exhibiting at the 2019 NeoCon event under the theme, Thought Leadership. The design challenge was to transform the Tarkett NeoCon showroom into a “contextual” space, mimicking contemporary open workplace environments and demonstrating how Tarkett flooring is an essential element in designating specific work areas such as collaboration, focus, quiet or tech-free zones and makers spaces. Additionally, Tarkett sought to bring their “Commitment to Good Design and the Environment” philosophy to life within the showroom. With Diverzify providing expert installation, Tarkett selected its Mixonomi Collection LTV shapes product to highlight design options while a unique linoleum floor and wall display showed an intricate floor design seamlessly transitioning up the wall. With the clear demonstration of Tarkett product’s imaginative design potential, Tarkett received two “Best of NeoCon” awards as well as accolades from Tarkett staff and customers.
